Charles Rouse has been painting in watercolor for more than 40 years. He began his career as a self-employed commercial designer, where he discovered a passion for the watercolor medium.

Today, Charles continues to explore and refine his artistic approach, creating watercolor paintings inspired by his travels, photography, and everyday observations. His work has been exhibited in numerous national watercolor shows and has earned many awards. Charles is a signature member of several leading watercolor societies and remains an active member of the art community as a juror, demonstrator, and lifelong student of the medium.
